The volcanic wastes of Pandryl, in the far north of the world, are rarely visited by any but the most foolhardy adventurers. Rivers of lava, frequent earthquakes and steep mountain passes make Pandryl the most treacherous of lands. But there are valuable secrets hidden in the dark nooks and crannies of the land.

Pandryl is home to the Dragons, a secretive and mysterious race of which very little is known. The Dragons are the most ancient of the world’s races, and know its arcane mysteries better than any other. Rarely venturing out of Pandryl, they prefer to manipulate the other races from a distance, in accordance with their own hidden plans.
