Next to Arae lies the island of Nuin, and it is the only place on Taos that even comes close to rivalling Arae's beauty. But while Arae is flat, Nuin stabs up in to the sky like an enormous speartip.
When the Orc invasion armies moved south through Taos, centuries ago, many of those loyal to the Eilol creed fled in their wake. Nuin is inhabited by the descendants of one such group, Goblins who had once sworn loyalty to the Eilol and refused to forsake their oaths, even in the face of death.

Lore Excerpt: 'Dailok realized that this was the end. A noose had been fitted around his neck, and the only thing standing between him and oblivion was a small, rickety wooden stool. A dozen Orcs stood in a circle around the tree from which he would hang, easily swatting away his horrified kin. There was nothing they could do. “For treasonous activities, this Goblin will hang!” the Orc leader, Garagek, shouted at the crowd, “Let this be a warning to all!” Dailok shuddered and cried, his tears forming tiny puddles in the ground below.
