Ediann is a cold and mountainous without much fertile land. At the land's very centre is Mount Ediann, the world's highest mountain, and the home of the industrious Draar, who mine the mountain for precious metals and minerals.
The Draar are small and are most noticable by their bat like facial features. The believe in a deity they call the Metal God. The central tenet of their faith is a hard work ethic. The Draar believe that the Metal God requires them to do their utmost in life, and only helps those who help themselves. The centre for their faith is The Shrine, which is situated at the very highest peak of Mount Ediann.
The Draar are masters of Steam power. Due to their more reliable designs, they maintain a technological superiority over the Goblins of Dae.

Lore Excerpt: 'Kinaguk and his small band of intrepid adventurers had been venturing further and further up for weeks, in a mission to find the top of the world. So far, they had been entirely unsuccessful. The cavern paths seemed to go on forever. Maybe that was the way it really was, maybe you could walk and walk until you dropped dead from exhaustion, seeking a “top of the world” which didn’t really exist. Maybe the caverns really were infinite. Yet Kinaguk and his band hadn’t given up, even after Boltri had fallen down a pit and broken both his arms and his legs. They had said that they would reach the top of the world, sworn it even, and their honour demanded that they keep going, until they found what they sought or died trying. Lately, Kinaguk had felt, the second alternative was the more likely. The Metal God wasn’t known for his willingness to forgive fools...'
