Dae is mainly one massive swamp and marshland with some grasslands and forests near the coast, and a dead wasteland with the border ofRildan.
Dae is home to the Goblins, a race of tinkers and creative inventors. There is a big noticable divide in Goblin society, the males are the most creative and exuberant while the females are more reclusive and contained. Due to the Goblins lack of concern about safety in their investions , the male lifespan is considerably shorter then the females. Goblin technology is the most advanced in the world, though its ramshackle appearance and unrealiabilty often deceives outsiders in to underestimating its power.

Lore Excerpt: 'Kialok stood back and admired the lifting machine. He felt a familiar sense of satisfaction. Nothing could beat the feeling you got from creating something new, building it with your own hands, using only your mind as a guide, and seeing it all come together. It was exhilarating. He looked over to his left, where the Eilol-thing, Lauan, was standing. Only two weeks before, Lauan had explained to him the principle of hydraulics. Now a fully functional hydraulic machine stood before them. The Eilol-thing seemed genuinely impressed. Kialok could hear a ruckus in the distance. At first he had thought it must just be some argument, probably over a spanner or gear, but the sounds kept getting louder. Now he could hear running feet, lots of them. Suddenly another Eilol-thing ran in to the hut, a look of abject fear in his eyes...'
