The world of taos is made up of many regions and inhabited by many different races and creatures. If it exists in Taos, it will be a disk in Maelori. Being a fantasy world each race has it's own stories, mythology and heros. These can also be disks.

Maelori features a 2D grid battlefield. You are able to summon your creatures in your summon area, and then move them across the battlefield to attack your opponent.
You can also move the battlefield during the course of the game to any region in Taos and change parts of the battlefield into different types of habitats.
Time also takes a part in the battle. Each players turn, a game hour passes, so the battle will pass through day & night. Different creatures prefer different times of day.
The battlefield is a Dynamic environment, which will constantly affect your discs. Plan ahead to take full advantage.

Battles earn you points, which you can buy new Disks in a community shop, or you can sell those old Disks for a fraction of the cost. Stock is also added randomly, so keep checking out the shop, who knows what you can find.

You can trade Disks with anyone, if they are interested and you can also bet Disks on the result of battle, winner takes all. Want to gamble?

The rules are simple. If you have the higher attack, you win, but discs can have different abilities like Ranged, Paralyze and Armour. All abilities are simple rules too, but combined your Army could be deadly.

Every creature has an alignment value which basically represents Good & Evil. The player starts of Neutral, but each action they perform adjusts their alignment. Any creature that has an alignment outside of the players alignment range costs double to summon and some spells/effects can only happen if the player is of a certain alignment.
For example, Paralyzing your target is "Good". You are saving your creatures and not killing the opponent creatures, but killing an helpless paralyzed creature is "Evil"
Evil creatures tend to be better at attacking while good creatures tend to be better at charming

As mentioned, many Disks have abilities that can be used instead of attacking. Charming allows you to attempt to charm an opponents Disk to fight for you. You can paralyze opponents to make them weaker. Some Disks can summon creatures for free, while others can heal.
