There are 7 different types of discs that you can include in your deck, below you can find descriptions of all 7 and an accompanying sample disk of each respective type.

- Entities -
The most common type of disk, these represent your troops that you summon on the battlefield, ranging from weak insects to mighty siege engines and warlords.
Entity disks can gain benefits from the battlefield, the current game time and other discs such as other entities, spells & items.

Aerari Desert Guard

- Spells -
Spells can be anything and everything, from fireballs to magical shields. In a typical game situation Spells are essentially used to gain decisive advantages during the battle, but many disks are able to counter spells being cast.

- Traps -
Traps are disks that can be only activated the turn after they are placed and are a great way to unnerve your opponent since they don't know what they are until they have been activated.

- Items -
Item disks are given to creatures improve or change their abilities. If the creature is killed, the item is lost as well.
|

Amulet of Medua's Eye

- Events -
Event disks represent natural as well as unnatural events that occur in the world of Taos, when these disks are drawn, they are activated automatically with no control from either player. Only the most skilled commanders will be able to make effective use of Event disks.

- Habitats -
By using a habitat disk, you can change parts of the battlefield into different environments, like swamps or jungles. Some entities have a preferred habitat, and if they are in the same location, they gain an advantage.

- Regions -
The lands of Taos are made up of many different types of region. It's possible to relocate the battlefield to any of these regions. Entities become easier to summon if they are in their home region, and the habitats available are restricted.
